  1. I just want to say well done, well done indeed. This updated version of Sparkle help to bring so much more information that they did not have in the original movie version of Sparkle. I had the pleasure of seeing them both. And this one was far better than the first one. Not to say that I did not like the first one, I am a very big fan of the original movie, but this one gave the movie so much depth and insight into what was really going on the the lives of the three sisters. Whitney and Jordan were both great and the young women who played the role of sister did a fabulous job also. I also enjoy the other young women who played Delores. So far I have gone to see Sparkle twice and I am planning on seeing it a third time. I loved it that much. I salute Whitney Houston for being a part of it and helping to remake it. All the actors were great in their respective roles. Mike Epps gave knew meaning to looking handsome and being someone you are suppose to hate. But I love Mr. Epps and I don’t think I could hate him in any role. He was great. Sparkle is a must see movie. I think both Whitney Houston and Jordan Sparks deserve Oscar nominations as well as some of the other cast members. Everyone was so good. I simply love this movie. It was well written and performed. Thank you all for the remake.
