Whitney Live in Leipzig

After a few hours of sleep we started our trip to Leipzig. The car ride took about 2 hours and we arrived in Leipzig very early at about 11.30 am. Since it was the only concert with stance we wanted to be there early as we didn’t knew how many fans would also be there and we had to be in the front row again! After waiting for 7 hours and meeting some great fans the doors finally opened. So we run and got a bit confused hpw to get down to the floor but made it to get to the front row in time not center but very close tp it about the area where Bobbie Kristina is standing. Then the support acts came and the second one got booed of the stage (was a very wrong choice from Sony-BMG).
Finally at about 9.15 Whitney took the stage and gave her all. There was no horasnessness nothing her voice was clearer as in Rome. First song was as always “For The Lovers” you could see when she was entering the stage that the concert was goining to be great. A new wig (same as on “Wetten dass!?”). She sounded fantastic over the pre recorded vocals. While singing “For The Lovers” the photographers started tho take pictures and then she sung “Nothing But Love” both songs were not performed as agressive as in Berlin. Next she performed “I Look To You” like I’ve never her her performe before, it was flawless and she got very emotional and had tears in her eyes, my friend shouted “don’t cry Whitney”. After she sung “My Love Is Your Love” followed by “Step By Step” before going on a short break. First I did not want to record this concert, as the quality of my recordings are not perfect, but after hearing her singing like this, I had to record it.
After the short break Whitney returned in a stunning golden dress (hope somone made pictures, have yet to see one) the second part of the concert started with “A Song For You” and the Michael Jackson tribute, then she sung part of “His Eye Is On The Sparrow” (after somone at the back shouted “go home” which is in my opinion very ignorand and based on no ground). Futher she sung the love medley “Saving All My Love For You”, “The Greatest Love Of All” and “I Learned From The Best” which she sung so well. Then she talked about the Lord and sung “I Love The Lord”, I can still hear the sound of it in my hears. She then sung “I Will Always Love You” like she never did this tour, it was perfect, she naild it. There was no hesitation, no long break, it was wonderful, just wonderful, we all went crazy. And this continued after when Whitney was singing “I Wanna Dance With Somebody (Who Loves Me) and “How Will I Know”. The conert closed with “I Didn’t Know My Own Strength” which she said, the concert was all about. She then changed again and returned for the smashing encore “Million Dollar Bill”. I’m so happy that I was able to attend this concert and am so looking forward to the next. This concert also proofed that Whitney is still the best, but she doesn’t need proof :-) .
